PraxiBuilder Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 22, 2026

Welcome to PraxiBuilder. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our web application. PraxiBuilder is a platform designed exclusively for educators and administrators; we do not intentionally collect, process, or store data from students or children under the age of 18.

1. Information We Collect

We practice strict data minimization, collecting only the information necessary to provide and improve our services.

  • Account Information: When you log in via Google Authentication, we securely collect only your name and email address.
  • User-Generated Content: We store the assignments, questions, instruction blocks, and formatting preferences you create or upload to the platform.
  • Subscription & Usage Information: We store your plan and subscription status and your AI credit usage so we can operate your account. For paid plans, billing is handled by our payment processor (see Section 3); we do not store your full payment card number.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to operate the platform and communicate with you. Specifically, to:

  • Authenticate your identity and secure your dashboard.
  • Save, organize, and render your custom question banks and assignments.
  • Provide the optional AI-assisted features you choose to use.
  • Process payments, manage subscriptions, and apply promotional codes.
  • Send you essential system notifications, such as terms updates or security alerts.
  • Send you occasional product updates, new feature announcements, and educational marketing materials.

3. Third-Party Services and Infrastructure

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We securely share necessary data with trusted infrastructure and service providers to operate PraxiBuilder:

  • Base44 (Hosting & Infrastructure): PraxiBuilder is built on and hosted by Base44, which provides our application hosting, database storage, account authentication, and serverless functions. Your account information and User Content are stored on Base44’s infrastructure.
  • AI Providers: When you use an AI-assisted feature, the content you submit for that specific action is transmitted to third-party AI providers, through our infrastructure provider, in order to generate and return your result.
  • Stripe (Payments): For paid plans, Stripe securely processes your payment and card information. We receive limited billing details needed to manage your subscription (such as plan, status, and card brand and last four digits, where applicable) but do not store your full card number.
  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google platforms utilize user privacy selections, managed via Consent Mode settings, to govern how data is collected and used. Google Analytics tracks usage data and IP addresses, which are processed according to your specific cookie consent choices.
  • Kit (Email Communications): We use Kit to manage and distribute our email updates. Kit processes standard personal data, such as your contact information and IT details like an IP address, to deliver these emails. Kit does not process sensitive personal data, such as biometric data, political opinions, or health information. Every non-essential email sent through Kit includes an unsubscribe link, allowing you to opt out of marketing communications at any time.

4. Cookies and Local Storage

We use essential cookies and local browser storage strictly to authenticate your account and keep you signed into the application across browser sessions. We also use analytics cookies to help us monitor site performance, which you can manage through your browser settings.

5. Shared Content

PraxiBuilder lets you generate a link to share a question bank or assignment. When you enable link sharing for an item, its contents become accessible to anyone who has that link, until you turn sharing off. Shared links are not publicly indexed, but you should only share them with people you intend to give access.

6. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You retain complete ownership and control over your personal data and the content you create. At any time, you have the right to:

  • Review, edit, or remove any questions or assignments stored within your profile.
  • Permanently delete your entire account and all associated data manually using the account deletion tool located within your application settings.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

PraxiBuilder is actively growing. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy to reflect software updates, new third-party integrations, or legal changes. If we make significant material changes, we will notify you via email prior to the changes taking effect.
